The press meet of Sarai Veerraju movie which sports Ajay doing the title role was held at Prasad Labs today morning. DS Kannan who assisted Rajamouli and Krish in the past is making his debut as director with this bilingual movie.

Director Kannan said, “Shooting of 90% of the movie is over. An episode to be shot in Dubai is pending. Music will be launched on 16 September. There are six songs in this movie. I got introduced to Telugu literature when I was working for Krish’a Gamyam. I read ‘aaru saara kathalu’ by Ravi Sastri. I got inspired by a story from that book and did changes to suit the big screen format. We shot the movie in Narsipatnam area. Around 120 local artists acted in the movie. I am hopeful of success of movie.”

Actor Ajay said, “Sarai Veerraju is a proper commercial film with nice story. There will be good feel and terrific action. Director has made the movie in an interesting style.”

Madhulika and Ramya Nambisan are doing female leads. Sri Sai composes music. Vishwa handles camera. Visalakshmi Creations banner is producing this movie..
