Allu Sirish who started first English south Indian film magazine is all set to host an annual award ceremony. These awards will be called as Southscope Style awards. The team of South Scope organized a press meet today to announce the same. Actress Ileana came to this meet as the guest and unveiled the award replica and shared her opinions. These awards ceremony will be held in HICC, Hotel Novotel, Hyderabad on the night of 25th October 2009.

About Style awards
The Southscope Style awards are being established to celebrate the sartorial splendour of South India cinema. Style in the cinema parlance has always been unique, distinct, inimitable and unparalled in my part of the globe. The Process Southscope has taken on the daunting task of shortlisting films from all south Indian languages- Telugu, Tamil, Kannada& Malayalam- that have stood neck above the rest with their signature style in 2007- 2008. From them, the winners will be chosen by audience’s poll and the jury’s votes.

The Panelists
In addition to conducting audience’s poll, we also have a jury comprising of renowned fashion designers Asmita Marwa, Wendell Rodricks, Prasad Bidapa who will judge the nominees according to give parameters.

The Show
The evening will be a star studded event with the crème-de-la-crème of cinema consisting of luminaries from all the four south Indian film industries. Besides the awards ceremony, the event will have performances, entertainment and a fashion show by stars in true blue south film style.
