Suhasini
is acting in a woman oriented straight Telugu film
titled 'Tanu' in the direction of M Nagendra Kumar.
The producer Hari arranged a press meet on 11th December.

Suhasini
said, "The director's work and appearance reminds
me that of AR Rehman in his early days. I am completing
25 years of acting on 12th December. My first film
was Mouna Geetam (1981). I acted in 185 films so far.
95 out of 185 films are straight Telugu films. I am
very closely associated with Andhra Pradesh. I learnt
a lot from Telugu people. This film Tanu reminds me
of the days I worked for Swathi and Sindhu Bhairavi.
Director Nagendra Kumar is making this film in such
a way that the entire family can watch it. I am playing
an elder woman's character who gets married at an
early age of 19. Archana is playing my sister. This
film is about generation gap. Sivaji Raja is also
doing a different role."
Producer
Hari said that the shooting of the film is complete
but for a song. Post production is going on. Audio
of Tanu would be released in the month end. Tanu film
is expected to release in first week of January 2006.
Chandana
said that she is feeling lucky to work with actress
like Suhasisni.
Rama
Jogaiah who penned lyrics in this film opined that
there is artistic value in the lyrics.
Archana,
Sivaji Raja and director also spoke briefly on this
occasion.
