Dasari is going to produce and direct a movie titled ‘Young India’ by casting new faces. He ran a talent hunt through vernacular newspapers. He arranged a press meet to give the details

Dasari said, “Since I was active in politics, I couldn’t direct movies though I produced films. It’s been 6 years since I directed my last movie. Many producers including D Rama Naidu, Mohan Babu and Jayasudha have been asking me to direct a movie for them. I want to direct a film on my home banner before directing other films. Young India is my 149th movie. I worked on the script for three months. I delivered blockbusters like Swargam Narakam, Swapna, Needa etc with new faces. I gave casting call on local newspapers and the response has been amazing. We got around 15000 responses so far. Due to public demand, we are increasing the deadline by another 7 days. Kodi Rama Krishna, Raviraja Pinisetti and Relangi Narasimha Rao are overseeing the selction process. We will select three people for each character and give them training and select the right candidate after screen test. Young India is a youth film.”
