Sri Raghava’s latest movie Yuganiki Okkadu (Karthi, Reema Sen) will be releasing in Telugu on 5 February. Studio Green has arranged a press meet –
Karthi said, “Tamil version of this film was released recently in Tamilnadu and running with good collections. We trimmed the movie a bit for Telugu version. This film is made in 2 and half years and the subject offers variety. I did a deglamorised role in this movie. My brother Surya also liked it very much. The Telugu version is releasing on 5 February and I am hopeful that it will be received well by Telugu movie lovers.”
Sri Raghava (Selva Raghavan) said, “All our hard work for 2 and half years is reflecting in each frame of the movie. Everybody likes it. We trimmed the Tamil version by 40 minutes to suit Telugu nativity. A part of the movie has Chola period and I had done a lot of research. We also have Chola period music in the movie. All south Indians worked for this movie and it will match up to the standards of world cinema.”
Reema Sen said, “I had to say no to other projects for 2 years because I worked for Yuganikokkadu. Such is the greatness of the subject of this movie. This is the most special film in my career.”
