Zee Telugu which was launched on 18th of May 2005 is getting slowly popular with original concepts and audience centric programming of highest quality. R Ajay Kumar - Business Head of Zee South - invited the press today to share what Zee TV has in story for the month to come.

Speaking on the occasion Ajay Kumar said, “I had the rich experience of working with almost all Telugu satellite channels in the last 12 years. But my latest stint at Zee Telugu in the past seven months is the most satisfying experience. We thrived to give something original to the viewers of Zee Telugu. The most popular program on Zee Telugu today is ‘Gold Rush - Nee Illu Bangaram Kaanu’ hosted by queen of Telugu TV media Udaya Bhanu. Gold Rush is an original idea our team has come up with and it’s a ‘ladies only’ game show that clicked in a big way. Six Kgs of Gold was given away through this program. We are coming up with an innovative idea of ‘Friday releases’ where there would be a feature film made exclusively for Zee Telugu would be telecasted every Friday. For Sankranthi 2006, we are coming up with an exclusive interview of Chiranjeevi where he tells so many things which he never shared with media in the past.”

GOLD RUSH: Nee Illu Bangaram Kaanu…, The driver game show.

Gold Rush - Nee Illu Bangaram Kaanu…today, is the most popular Game Show among the women viewers across the State. Gold Rush, telecast Monday to Thursday between 9pm to 10 pm has a humongous following. (See Chart 1)

Till date 6kgs of Gold across 320 participants have been won in this Show. Gold Rush - Nee Illu Bangaram Kaanu, hosted by the lively and vivacious Udaya Bhanu, is now dedicated to the Telugu Adapaduchus. Further, 25 gms of Gold each day was also given away to 20 contestants from 26th Sept 05 to 27th Oct 2005.

The objective of the programme is to see that all the Telugu Women folk win gold in this Interactive Game Show. There has been a tremendous response from not just Andhra Pradesh, but also from other cities outside the state.

Zee Telugu is also bringing in a lot of variations to break the monotony of the Show. As of now, we are into the “Attha Kodalu” round and we promise to bring in a lot more variations with new permutations and combinations.

During Dassera, exclusively for the Audience of the programme, Gold Rush, Zee Telugu ran a month-long contest wherein a Jackpot of 1 kg Gold was given away and the same was wonby Ms.Madhuravani of Tenali. The 24 year old lady Said, “ I was thrilled and felt so happy on winning the Gold Rush Jackpot of Dasara Adrusta Lakshmi on Zee Telugu”.

FRIDAY RELEASE:- FIRST OF ITS KIND IN SOUTH INDIAN TV.

Friday Release will be one of its kind in South Indian Industry. Friday Release will start from the first week of January 06 and as the name suggests. “Friday Release” features 95 mnt feature film, specifically made for Television, which contains all the elements of a good feature film for a family entertainer.
