The team of Jagapathi the latest movie of Jagapathi Babu with Rakshita and Navneet Kaur met with the press to talk of the film's progress. Speaking to the press, Jonnalagada Srinivas said, "The film is complete except for two songs and a few final patch up works. The experience of working with this team will be a happy memory for me. We are not able to believe that the film is coming to an end, we had such fun as a team."

Talking about the hero he said, "Jagapathi Babu is doing a different role in the film, he will be seen in a all out rowdy role. It is going to be different from the roles that he has done earlier." He further added, "The music of the film will also prove to be an asset, because of the beautiful score given by Keeravani."

Rakshita spoke next and said, "It was a great fun to act in the film as the unit members are a lot of fun. I play a very sentimental role and most of the time the girl I play is seen crying for small things. It is a de-glamourised role in comparison to my earlier films."

Navneet Kaur the second heroine in the film said, "The unit members are very helpful and have always been there when I needed their help. That is all I would like to say at this moment, as I want the audience to find something different in the film and not read the whole thing in the papers."

Producer of the film Arjun Raju said, "The director is considered the captain of the film and I have a really good director so I have nothing to worry about my film. But all I would like to say is that he has brought out the best performance from all the artistes. The film is purely hero oriented. I will hit the theatres some time in the month of May preferably after May 15."

Jagapathi Babu said, "The producer is very keen about the success of the film he is taking all cares to see that the movie comes out well. The vision of the director is what has made this film possible; he has done justice to the script. The talkie part and the songs canned till date simply look great." About the film, "It is an out and out commercial film and has a lot o commercial values in it. I play a serious rowdy who changes his ways when he comes across one of the heroines. To find out which one you will have to watch the film. Technicians are the back bone of the film and they have done great justice to the film as a whole."
