Southern Superstar Rana Daggubati talks love, coffee and his new release ‘ Naa Ishtam ' over a hot cuppa

Hyderabad , March 1 9 th , 201 2 : The Lounge café, the premium café format from Café Coffee Day , hosted a n enjoyable afternoon with the ruggedly handsome Rana Daggubati over a session called ‘ Coffee with Rana at The Lounge ' . The session provided for a fun filled afternoon with the actor who was there to promot e his upcoming Telugu flick ‘Naa Ishtam' over a cup of coffee at T he Lounge in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad .

It was an entertaining afternoon with Rana sharing behind – the – scenes moments and various anecdotes that took place during the making of the movie. Naa Ishtam is a romantic comedy starring him and the ever bubbly Genelia D'Souza. D irected by debutant Prakash Tholeti, Rana essays a lighthearted chap who listens to his heart .

Rana revealed how he absolutely loves coffee and can 't d o without his daily fix of the brew. What caught everyone by surprise was when Rana showcased his barista skills, brew ing a hot cuppa but ofcourse with a little help from the café's experienced br e wmaster s . He said, I have been addicted to coffee since the days I used to work on special effects, a kettle of coffee was always by me and used to continuously sip coffee. Don't remember when I had my first coffee, but ten years ago I was even allowed to have coffee, both my parents don't have coffee or tea. I prefer hot coffee but in a hot weather like this go for a cold coffee. I generally prepare coffee for myself but became a bit conscious in the presence of media here.

Speaking on the movie Rana shared, “ Naa Ishtam is about a young couple in love. And like all love stories you will find elements of laughter and romance , elements which are easily visible should you visit your local Lounge cafe . So w hat better place than T he Lounge itself to speak about the film. I am a big fan of T he Loun ge and love its offerings with black coffee made by alternate brewing techniques being my favorite . V ery often when I visit the café, I find a budding love story that makes me smile . The café is a character all by itself that fits in beautifully with the movie and connects with the audience that we want to reach out to. ”

Naa Ishtam is slated to release in theaters on March 23, 2012 .
