Jagapati Babu’s latest film Pellaina Kothalo is running with positive mouth talk. The unit arranged a success meet in Annapurna studios on this eve. Here are the excerpts –

Character actress Hema said, “I started getting mother roles which I had been refusing. My role in Pellaina Kothalo gave fresh lease of life like Malliswari film did.”

Character actor Dharmavarapu Subramanyam said, “No director takes us into confidence and narrate the subject before signing. But Madan narrated the entire script. He has got good command on subject. Priyamani turned out to be another good actress for Telugu cinema.”

Kota said, “Madan takes care of climax in his films. In Aa Naluguru I got a vital role that drives the climax. I am fortunate to get another good role in Pellaina Kothalo and my role drives the climax in this film too. Jagapati Babu is a kind of actor who doesn’t mind accommodating other actors in his film. He won’t insist on heroism just for the heck of it. I did similar roles in films like Maa Nannaki Pelli and Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu. But this role is unique.”

Hero Jagapati Babu said, “I was deprived of success for a long time and now got success with Samanyudu and Pellaina Kothalo. This film deals with eight couples of different age group and different economic class. The collections increased due to good word of mouth. I would give the entire credit of this film’s success to debutant director Madan. He will go places in the future. This film is like a new year gift to me. When I am sets, I forget that I am hero and follow the script. I want all my co-artists to get their share of pie. We feel happy only when all the members of your family are happy. The unit of Pellaina Kothalo is like family to be. I would like to thank Telugu audiences who encouraged me with Subhalagam (husband role), Sivaramaraju (brother role) and Pellaina Kothalo (son-in-law role).”
