Success meet of Jagapati Babu’s latest film Brahmastram was held at Taj Banjara on the afternoon of 16th August. This meet was attended by Jagapati Babu, Nukarapu Surya Prakasa Rao, Surya Kiran, Kalyani, Bhaskarabhatla, Vaibhava, Kunireddy Srinivasa Rao and Peddireddy.

Speaking on the occasion presenter Srinivasa Rao said, “Brahmastram film is running successfully in 72 theaters across the state. Jagapati Babu excelled in the role. This film is reaching the classes and well as masses. The mother sentiment in this film is highlight.”

Music director trio Vaibhava said, “There are five songs in this film. We got good name both for songs and rerecording. Adugadugu melody is very good and the total credit should go to lyricist Bhaskarabhatla. Surya Kiran inspired us to do title song.”

Lyricist Bhaskarabhatla said, “This is my first film as dialogue writer. I did not have hopes on this film prior to film release. But I am very much satisfied with the film after watching it on big screen along with public audience. First half is entertaining. Second half has good emotional depth.”

I did not have openings for my films for the past 1 and half year - Jagapati Babu
Hero Jagapati Babu said, “I did not get good openings for any of my films for the past one and half years. For each and every film I used to give interviews. But I did not give any interviews prior to this film release. I went to theater and watched it with audiences. I am convinced that it is a good and hit film. That is the reason why I am participating in this success meet. We had several problems while making the movie. But it is the producer who stood with us and made sure that movie is released properly. Surya Kiran made sure that the emotions in my character in this film are consistent. I am sure that he is cutout for bigger films than Brahmastram. Brahmastram is a good film which should not be missed.”

A good producer should enthusiastically promote the film till 50 day run - N Surya Prakasa Rao
Producer N Surya Prakasa Rao said, “Brahmastram is the third gem from SP Creations banner. Director was keen on doing a film with Jagapati Babu. Jagapati Babu is very punctual on sets. There is mother sentiment. Climax tells us about the relationship in marriage. I faced many hurdles while producing the film. I feel that a good producer should maintain enthusiasm after the release and should make sure that he promotes the film till 50 days of run.”

Kalyani said that Brahmastram is the best film among three films directed by her husband Surya Kiran. BA Raju (Superhit) and Suresh Kondeti (Santosham) also spoke during this occasion.
