The unit of Hindi Blockbuster Rang De Basanti is traveling various cities in India to celebrate the success and share their happiness with the media. In the process, the team of RDB visited PVR Cinemas, Punjagutta in the afternoon of 8th February 2006. The celebrities who graced this event include Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehta, Siddardha and Soha Ali Khan.

Director Mehra said. “RDB is being received well by all cross-sections of audiences. I have selected incidents that happen in our society to make this film. Music and dialogues in the film are very appealing. Siddardha accepted this role after seeing the importance of his character in this film. Suha Ali Khan did wonderful job. I have two scripts ready now. One of it would be an animation film. The other one is going to be comedy film with good music. I will reveal more details about my future films later.”

My first priority is acting - Siddardha
Telugu film hero Siddardha said, “Getting great response from all areas is a rare feat achieved by RDB. Even in Hollywood films, the response would be limited to particular areas. Mehra approached me with the script after the release of NVNV. I liked the way he has given importance to all five characters in the film. Though I worked as writer, director and singer in films, my first priority is always going to be acting.”
