A clean family entertainer Maharadhi - Thotapally Madhu
Speaking on the occasion writer Thotapally Madhu said, “We titled Maharadhi because he is a leader. Ma stands for Manchitanam, Ha stands for Hasyam, Ra stands for Rasikatvam and Dhi stands for Dheeratvam. One and half years back, Bala Krishna invited me to the hill station of Ooty to discuss about the story. I prepared the story in a span of 15 days. After getting impressed by the story, Bala Krishna selected the director and the producer. This film will have what fans expect from Bala Krishna. It is a clean family entertainer. There are 32 characters in this film. Pradeep Rawat plays villain. We held the muhurat on 29th of April and completed the shoot on 12th of October.”

Producer Vakada Appa Rao said, “Myself and Kodi Rama Krishna are friends from Palakollu. We started Lalitha Kalanjali to promote stage plays in Palakollu. After we came to film industry, we made a film titled ‘Maa Intiki Randi’ in 1984 on Lalitha Kalanjali banner. After a gap of 22 years, I am doing Maharadhi in this banner. I would like to thank Bala Krishna who stood behind me all this while. Maharadhi is a complete family drama and a family entertainer. P Vasu with a vast experience of directing 54 films has done a fabulous job. Guru Kiran who scored music for Apt Mitra and Jogi in Kannada is providing music for this film. We will announce the audio release date very soon.”
