Kalamandir, a leading designer apparel store in South India, celebrated their Kalamandir Foundation 5th anniversary at Kalamandir premises, Kukatpally. The Foundation was initiated by Mr. Prasad Chalavadi CMD - Kalamandir Group. Ttown Actors Nikitha Narayan, Rahul , Sudhakar, Priya graced the occasion.

Part of this anniversary Actors and Prasad chalavadi, Mohan Chalavadi donated to “Cherish Foundation” which takes care of orphan and street childrens, Clothes to Govt. Blind school childrens. Felicitation done for 5 poor weavers and “Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust”, Merit scholarships were given to the childrens of Kalamandir staff.

On the occassion foundation has organized blood donation camps at all the store across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh. The collected blood was given to the Thalassemia & Sickle Cell Society which will help the children affected with Thalassemia.

Mohan Chalavadi, CEO-Kalamandir, giving his note on the occasion said, “A thought of paying back to the society has lead to the initiation of this noble cause called ‘Kalamandir Foundation’. Helping the needy gave us eternal delight. It was the greatest achievement we ever achieved. We have undertaken numerous initiatives in the areas of health, education and environment. Providing scholarships, organizing blood donation camps, protesting against drugs, promoting green revolution and donations to charity are few among those initiatives carried over by the Foundation. It’s my pleasure to share with you that our efforts and struggle for the good has been recognized in the form of ‘Best overall CSR Practices Award’, at World CSR Congress event held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, 2015.
