Nominating iconic places of interest in the city of Hyderabad, 92.7 BIG FM decided to confer the ‘Pakka Hyderabadi’ title on various signature hangouts as nominated by listeners. Actors Gautham (son of lead comedian Brahmanandam) and Alisha Baig, the lead pair of upcoming blockbuster ‘Basanthi’ joined the radio station today to hand over the certificate of ‘Pakka Hyderabadi Theatre’ to Sandhya theatre at RTC X roads. The actors and RJs from the radio station interacted with the media and fans here today.

From biryani joints, monuments, shopping arcades and a lot more, there are innumerable elements that are iconic to the city of Hyderabad. Starting Valentine’s Week, 92.7 BIG FM encouraged listeners to share their love for the city by talking about their favourite places to visit and experience that makes them ‘feel at home’ in Hyderabad. The station also relayed the story of ‘Bhagmati’ and encouraged listeners to share their emotional connect with Hyderabad.

92.7 BIG FM thus introduced the ‘Pakka Hyderabadi’ nominations which were conferred on numerous hangout places within the city. Listeners shared their experiences and also voted for their favourite chai, biryani, paan, eatery joints, shops, monuments / sightseeing and hangout locations. The radio station then took a census of the nominations and presented the ‘Pakka Hyderabadi’ certificates to the deserving ones. It was indeed a unique initiative by the radio station to involve listeners in highlighting and honouring the best places in the city!
