Vivanyas -The Ethnic Elegance a collection of handloom Silks and Cottons Expo begins at Sri Raja Rajeshwari Gardens, near Diamond point circle, Secunderabad. The Expo inaugurated by Tollywood Actress Priya. It will be on till 7th January 2015,Time 11:00am, to 9pm.

“The collection of silk and cotton saris , dress materials from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka Tamilnadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Rajasthan which are some of the traditional textiles of India. Unique collection in sarees, kurtas, kurtis, dress materials for casual and formal wear, Jewellary to complement the clothes as also a wide range of home linen. Weavers, Designers, Artisans displaying Authentic and infinite collection of textiles from all over Country” Said, organizer Madhavi.

“Alongside weaving, Indian textiles also display the art of needlework, printing and painting. The Kantha from West Bengal, Kutch of Gujarat, Kashida of Jammu & Kashmir, Lucknowichikan of Uttar Pradesh and an amalgam of different embroideries have grown in popularity as specialties of different regions – each is different and distinct from the other” Madhavi Naidu said on this occasion.
