Actress Hebba Patel Launched “Bouquet Vaddu Mokke Muddu” Saplings
Programme was organized as a part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the press club Hyderabad.
Tollywood Actress Hebba Patel, “Kumari F21” fame launched a programme “Bouquet Vaddu Mokke Muddu” (Say no to Bouquet and Yes to a Sapling) at the Press Club Hyderabad. The programme was organized as a part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the press club.
The glamorous heroine, who has created a name for herself with the film, said it was a unique event that she was participating and realized the importance of promoting the concept. She said in future she would accept saplings rather than a bouquet from her fans or the organizers where she would attend as a guest.
The Khairatabad MLA, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, who was the chief guest, lauded the concept and said he would adopt the concept immediately. The money thus saved would be given to children in Government schools. “Kumari F21” Director, Surya Pratap liked the concept immediately and said from now onwards during the promotions of his films only saplings would be used instead of bouquets. Press Club President, R. Ravikanth Reddy explained the concept and said journalists were also ‘social and environmental’ conscious and they wanted to contribute to the society by promoting the sapling concept. Later, Hebba Patel and Mr. Ramachandra Reddy presented saplings and also released t-shirts and caps designed on the same concept. Journalists later distributed saplings in the Secretariat to Ministers, MLAs and officials apart from film personalities.
