It was a glittering night of glitz and glamour at the Zee Cine Awards that were held last night in a grand ceremony where cinema was celebrated. The first award ceremony awarding talent that shone in 2019 saw films like Jersey, Maharshi, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Brochevarevaruraa being recognised.
New talent like Shraddha Srinath, Tharun Bhascker, Anand Deverakonda and Shivatmika were awarded alongside names like Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nani at the ceremony which took place in Hyderabad. Notably, many small films won at the ceremony, marking a very encouraging atmosphere for them.
The event even had an interesting new award to celebrate social media with a 'Twitter star of the year' award too.
