The teaser of the prestigious Suresh Productions next venture, 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu, was released at an event in Hyderabad on Wednesday and it promises to be a tale that will resonate with middle-class households.

Nearly two minutes in duration, the teaser opens with Nivetha Thomas who is a homemaker in Tirupati, with Vishwadev Rachakonda playing her husband. She tells a character played by Gauthami Tadimalla that she got married at a young age. She leads an idyllic life with her husband and her two school-going children. However, differences surface among the couple when one of their sons, Arun, flunks fifth standard, leading to strife. What happens next seems to form the crux of the story.

Mirroring middle-class lives with a touch of humour, the teaser transitions to an emotional note as it progresses. The Tirupati backdrop is fresh, with the actors speaking in the local dialect. Overall, the teaser is super fun, cute and extremely emotional, promising to deliver an important message to the society. Nivetha as a housewife aces the character and the look, while Priyadarshi and Vishwadev seem to have landed meaty roles. The cinematography by Niketh Bommi captures the mood of a middle-class household to perfection while Vivek Sagar’s background score is lively.

To be released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages on August 15th, the film marks the directorial debut of Nanda Kishore Emani.
