More than four months after the first teaser, production house Mythri Movie Makers on Saturday dropped the second teaser of Phanindra Narsetti’s 8 Vasantalu, top-lined by Mad fame Ananthika Sanilkumar, and it promises a timeless tale of love.
Spanning 1:25 minutes, the brand new teaser opens with Ananthika’s character seeing Sanjay (played by Ravi Duggirala) for the first time amid a downpour. It's love at first sight for them and as Ananthika enquires about Sanjay; she gets to know that he is a Telugu writer who has his way with the words. He has just landed in Ooty. As the hill station is captured in its breathtaking natural beauty that woos tourists across the country every winter, we get to see Ananthika and Sanjay forging a bond that will alter their lives forever. According to her, girls like men who are compassionate than men who are aggressive, while for him, love isn’t a destination to reach but the journey that both should undertake. Will their ideologies come in the way of their romance? Well, we have to wait until June 20th to find out the answer.
Rounding up, the teaser presents a film that will delve deep into the emotional complexities of the lead characters, hinting at a deeply personal romance that uses poetic language and images. Fresh, intense and musically uplifting with a score that adds to the poetic feel, the teaser gives a peek into what seems to be a romantic emotional rollercoaster ride. Ananthika and Ravi share a chemistry that is hard to ignore, while the cinematography is all class.
Also featuring Hanu Reddy, Sanjana, Kanna Pasunoori, Swaraj Rebbapragada and Sameera Kishore, 8 Vasantalu is Phanindra's second feature film after the critically-acclaimed Manu.
