Icon star Allu Arjun will be joining forces with Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a new project; it was announced early today morning.

To be produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Films and Sandeep and his brother Pranay Reddy’s Bhadrakali Pictures, and Shiv Chanana, who serves as a co-producer, the as-yet-untitled movie’s principal photography will kick off after Sandeep wraps up Spirit with Prabhas. Spirit is also being produced by Bhushan Kumar as is Sandeep’s on-sets film Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor.

More details of the Allu Arjun-starrer, including its title, plot and cast will be announced at a later date.

With this film set to go on floors after Spirit, it’s likely that Bunny will complete one more movie before he joins the sets of Sandeep’s film. While Trivikram’s name is attached to his immediate next after Pushpa 2, Surender Reddy too, sources say, is looking to collaborate with the actor after Race Gurram.

Right now, Bunny is completely focused on the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, Pushpa: The Rule. Written and directed by Sukumar and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the sequel will continue to follow the life of Pushpa Raj, tracing his rise in the red sandalwood smuggling syndicate, while also focusing on his spat with SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat (played by Malayalam big cheese Fahadh Faasil) who is keen to settle scores with him after being humiliated towards the end of the first part. Jagapathi Babu is the latest addition to the film’s ensemble cast.
