Natural star Nani on Monday released the trailer of his good friend Allari Naresh-starrer Aa Okkati Adakku at an event in Hyderabad and it promises to be a rollercoaster ride of laughs with a tinge of romance and emotion.

Two minutes in length, the trailer opens with Gana (played by Allari Naresh), who doesn’t have a caste feeling, looking for a suitable partner to get hitched. He has ensured that 200 couples had gotten married so far; however, luck has eluded him when it comes to his own marriage. He later approaches a matrimonial office in the hope of finding a match. Soon, he falls in love with a spirited woman (Faria Abdullah), who too likes him back but she seems to have her own reservations when it comes to the big question of marriage. What next seems to form the crux of the story! In fact, the story seems to take a serious turn towards the end when Naresh request a court judge: “Maalanti pellikanollaki veelaithe pelli sambandham choosi pettamani cheppandi, pelleppudu pelleppudu ani dobbevallani oka kotha section petti lopala veyandi please (Help the people who haven’t got married, while arrest people who constantly pester us with the question of marriage).”

Overall, the trailer promises to deliver non-stop laughter as Naresh navigates through the ups and downs of finding a girl to marry. The fact that he is dealing with a problem that most unmarried men face means there will be a sense of connectivity. While the comedy genre is tough to pull off since it requires a magical alchemy of performance, writing and timing to elicit chuckles from the audience, this film seems to have ticked all boxes right, with none other than Abburi Ravi leading the writing team and a proven performer like Naresh playing the lead role, with company from the likes of Vennela Kishore, Viva Harsha, Shakalaka Shankar and Jamie Lever.

Produced by Rajiv Chilaka under the banner of Chilaka Productions and directed by Malli Ankam, Aa Okkati Adakku will bow out in theatres on May 3rd. Gopi Sunder is the tunesmith.
