Close on the heels of producer Abhishek Agarwal and Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor and Ananya Birla pledging 10,000 tickets each of Prabhas-starrer Adipurush to the disadvantaged children of the society, actor Manchu Manoj and his wife Bhuma Mounika on Monday got into the act and shared that they too will be distributing 2,500 tickets of the film to different orphanages across the Telugu states on the release day of the film.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Manoj wrote, “Adipurush is a film which needs to be celebrated by everyone without boundaries. Taking this as our lifetime opportunity, we have decided to show Adipurush to 2500 kids from different orphanages across the Telugu states to witness the mythological masterpiece ‘Ramayana’ through #Adipurush on June 16th.”
The actor, who will be next seen in the wacky entertainer, What The Fish, will be associating with Brihaspati Tech and Namasthe World for the purpose.
“Let the holy hymn of #JaiShreeRam resonate everywhere,” Manoj concluded.
The multilingual period saga, which is being touted as a film celebrating “the victory of good over evil”, is an on-screen adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana. Directed by Om Raut, it features Prabhas as Lord Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki and Saif as Lankesh.
Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-series, Raut, Prasad Sutar, Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles and Vamsi-Pramod of UV Creations. Leading production house People Media Factory is releasing the film in Telugu.
