Rumours of a rift between Icon star Allu Arjun and star director Sukumar over the delay in the shoot of Pushpa: The Rise have been doing the rounds for the past three-four days. With none from the team coming on record, the rumours gained further credence. However, on Friday in Hyderabad, Bunny Vaas, Allu Arjun’s close confidant, categorically rubbished such rumours, saying that if Sukumar shoots for six more months, Allu Arjun will attend it.

“To be honest, a friend of mine sent me some of the (rift) articles and we laughed at them. As we were getting free publicity, we felt let it go. Bunny has to work for 15-17 days more for the film; that’s it. He has to shoot the climax part and a song. Fahadh Faasil has major work because his dates in April-May got cancelled. So Sukumar wanted to lock to edit first. In case he has to reshoot anything, he wanted to do it during the shoot of the climax and the song. Bunny trimmed his beard in a way that it will grow back by the time he rejoins the sets. This whole episode was blown out of proportion,” Bunny Vaas said, with a smile. He was speaking at an event of his next production venture, AAY, featuring Narne Nithiin in the lead.

He added, “Bunny, Suku and I share a special bond. It’s an emotion which can’t be described in words. If Sukumar shoots for six more months, Bunny will attend it because they know the value of Pushpa. They don’t have any differences. The shoot will resume from the first week of August.”

Set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh, Pushpa: The Rule, as the name indicates, will see Pushpa’s reign as he encounters familiar names who try to block his rapid ascent. Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil and Anasuya are reprising their parts once again.

'పుష్ప-2' దిరూల్‌ విషయంలో కథానాయకుడు అల్లు అర్జున్‌- దర్శకుడు సుకుమార్‌పై సోషల్‌ మీడియాలో వస్తున్న రూమర్స్‌పై అల్లు అర్జున్‌ సన్నిహితుడు, ప్రముఖ నిర్మాత బన్నీవాస్‌ శుక్రవారం జరిగిన 'ఆయ్‌' సినిమా ప్రెస్‌మీట్‌లో స్పందించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఓ విలేఖరి అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు సమాధానం చెబుతూ 'పుష్ప-2 గురించి మీడియా లో వస్తున్న న్యూస్ లు చూసి నవ్వుకునే స్థితిలో మేమున్నాం. అల్లు అర్జున్ షూటింగ్‌ పార్ట్ 15 నుంచి 20రోజుల లోపు ఉంది. ఇది కాకుండా వేరే ఆర్టిస్టులతో కూడా చిత్రీకరణ మిగిలి వుంది. దర్శకుడు సుకుమార్‌ ఎడిటింగ్‌ చూసుకుని ఇంకా ఏమైనా అల్లు అర్జున్‌ పార్ట్‌ బ్యాలెన్స్ వుందేమో క్లారిటీ తెచ్చుకుని షూటింగ్‌ పెట్టుకుందాం అన్నారు. అల్లు అర్జున్ కూడా దీన్ని దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకొని ట్రీమ్‌ చేశారు. అల్లు అర్జున్ సుకుమార్‌కు నాకు ఉన్న బాండింగ్ లైఫ్ లాంగ్ అలానే వుంటుంది. ఆగష్టు మొదటి వారంలో షూటింగ్‌ మొదలవుతుంది పుష్ప లాంటి పాన్ ఇండియా క్రేజీ ఫిలిం ని సింపుల్ గా ఎందుకు తీసుకుంటారు' అని అన్నారు.
