Writer–director Vimal Krishna, who made a smashing debut with the 2022 blockbuster DJ Tillu, is now gearing up to deliver yet another eccentric comedy with Anumana Pakshi. Backed by Chilaka Productions and produced by Rajiv Chilaka, Meghha Chilakka, Sneha Rajesh Jagtiani, Vihaan Dand, Sricharan Marneni, the film stars Rag Mayur and Merin Philip in the lead. The team has begun musical promotions with a lively spark, unveiling the first single, Gulab Jam.
Composer Sri Charan Pakala crafts an addictive blend of mellow traditional textures, interlaced with modern, upbeat rhythms. Lyricist Kittu Vissapragada complements this musical palette with sweet, frisky lines that echo the sugary title while subtly highlighting the protagonist’s charmingly eccentric behaviour.
Ramana Gogula’s raspy-energetic timbre becomes the soul of the track, giving it an effortless catchiness. His voice lifts every beat, turning Gulab Jam into the kind of number that stays with listeners long after it ends.
Visually, the song pops with bright, scenic contrasts- snow-capped locales, and lush green stretches, featuring lead pair Rag Mayur and Merin Philip. Their breezy chemistry and the film’s playful visual style hint at a humour-packed, feel-light narrative.
The film features Prince Cecil, Anannayaa, Charith, Brahmaji, Raasi, Ajay, and Mast Ali in significant roles. It is supported by a team of talented technicians.
