Vimal Krishna, the filmmaker who made a striking impression with DJ Tillu, is gearing up for his next quirky outing, Anumana Pakshi. Starring Rag Mayur in the lead, the film promises to take a distinctly unconventional route with its humour, characters and storytelling. Presented by Chilaka Productions, the film is produced by Rajiv Chilaka, Rajesh Jagtiani and Hirachand Dand. Merin Philip is paired opposite Rag Mayur. Sunny is someone who finds it difficult to trust anything at face value. He tends to overthink every situation and sees something suspicious in almost everything around him. However, after travelling to Kashmir, Sunny meets a girl and gradually falls in love with her. Meanwhile, a police officer starts pursuing him. What exactly happened in Kashmir and why the cop is after Sunny form the crux of the story.
After showcasing his trademark comedy with DJ Tillu, director Vimal Krishna returns with another unconventional and entertaining story. This time, he builds the narrative around Rag Mayur’s overthinking character and manages to generate plenty of laughs throughout.
Rag Mayur is particularly effective in the role of an overthinker, with his impeccable comic timing emerging as one of the film’s major strengths. Merin Philip makes a charming impression as his love interest and shares good chemistry with him. Ajay, despite appearing serious in his character, brings an unexpected comic element to the proceedings. Raasi, Prince Cecil, Anannayaa, Charith, and Brahmaji also make their presence felt in their respective roles.
Sunil Kumar Nama captures the breathtaking beauty of Kashmir beautifully, adding strong visual appeal to the film. Sricharan Pakala elevates the fun quotient in the narrative with his music. The production values maintained by Chilaka Productions are impressive and complement the overall presentation. JK Murthy is the art director, while editing is handled by Chota K Prasad.
The trailer promises a full-on entertaining experience, raising expectations and generating strong buzz around the film.
