It has been a long time since actress Anushka Shetty is seen on the big screen. Her last flick was Nishabdam which was released in 2020 on Amazon Prime Video. After being quiet for more than a year, the actress, on her birthday last year, announced her upcoming film which will be directed by Mahesh P and produced by UV Creations.

As per the latest update, Anushka will be playing an international chef in this film and her character is going to have multiple layers and that’s what made her give a nod to the project. This is a new-age love story and Naveen Polishetty will be seen playing the lead actor. Their pair on screen is something that is going to stand out and be a highlight of this rom-com entertainer.

The film went on floors last month but it stalled as of now due to various reasons. Anushka is yet to begin shooting for the film and is expected to join the sets soon and is likely to wrap up the shoot at the earliest.

The Zero Size actress has worked for two films under UV Creations banner already namely – Mirchi & Bhaagamathie. Naveen Polishetty is banking on the success of two back to back films in Tollywood and has a line-up that he is busy working for.
