After the success of the first two songs, the third single from Baby was released by Rashmika Mandanna at an event in Hyderabad on Tuesday. “The heart breaking song of the season that'll sting your hearts is here,” posted film’s writer-director Sai Rajesh sharing the link to the song on Twitter.
Composed by Vijai Bulganin, who received widespread praise for the job on the first two songs, the third single is unusually a lengthy one given that lately songs don’t extend beyond the five minutes timeframe. The song–Premisthunna… Premisthunna… – begins with a soulful syncopation before the singer PVNS Rohit takes over and breathes life into it. The lyrics by Suresh Banisetti are simple but carry a lot of depth. The flow is consistent and it looks like the song embodies the personality traits of the male leads played by Anand Deverakonda and Viraj Ashwin. Like the wind which is a constant fixture throughout the lyrical video, the slow burner of a song hits you like a gentle breeze, leaving a pleasant feeling. Sandilya Pisapati’s violin score enhances the overall appeal, while the top angle shots add a certain charm and mystery to the song. Overall, it’s another winner from team Baby. The makers are only increasing the buzz surrounding the film with one hit track after the other. This should help them fetch a good initial.
Baby, a new age love story, is produced by SKN under Mass Movie Makers. It will be sailing into cinemas on July 14.
