Attitude Star Chandra Hass is coming up with Barabar Premistha, being directed by Sampath Rudra and produced by Geda Chandu, Gayatri Chinny, and AVR under the banners of CC Creations and AVR Movie Wonders, with Kakarla Satyanarayana presenting. Miss India finalist Meghna Mukherjee plays the female lead, while Arjun Mahi (Ishtamga fame) appears as the antagonist. Every promotional material released so far generated strong buzz for the movie. Today, the makers dropped the film’s theatrical trailer.
The protagonist Chandu is deeply in love with Bujjamma. At first, she keeps her distance, but gradually she begins to like him. Soon, she falls for him even more strongly than he loves her. Though their village is troubled by caste issues, their bond only grows. The story follows how the two face these challenges and ultimately succeed in their love.
The dialogue “Front nundi choosthe poola thota lekka, side nundi choosthe pandla thota lekka masthandamgunnam po...” spoken by Chandu adds a youthful touch. The line “Eeda Yadikosthav, Eeda Kallokosthav, Eeda Panamai Koosunnav...” from Bujjamma reflects her growing affection. Another impactful line from Chandu, “Vargam kosam kottukuntunnaru, pranam theesthunnaru, pranam istharu...” highlights the caste conflict in the story.
The trailer ends on a light, humorous note with a playful imitation of Prabhas’ popular Okka Adugu dialogue, leaving the audience with a smile.
Chandra Hass delivers a strong performance as Chandu. His screen presence, confident body language, and sharp dialogue delivery leave a solid impact. Meghna Mukherjee looks charming and fits beautifully into the role of Bujjamma. Arjun Mahi brings good intensity as the villain, while Muraleedhar Goud, Laxman Meesala, and Madhunandan add value with their neat performances.
Director Sampath Rudra narrates this commercial entertainer in an engaging and enjoyable manner. YR Shekhar’s visuals are appealing, and RR Dhruvan’s music adds emotion and energy to the scenes. The production values are impressive.
With the blend of love, action and intense drama, the film is poised to attract both youth and family audiences. The trailer has already boosted the buzz, and the movie is now set to hit the theatres on February 6th.
