The first teaser of Ram Pothineni’s next with Boyapati Sreenu is out and it promises to be a signature Boyapati entertainer with plenty of action, drama and mass elements woven around the narrative. The teaser was dropped by the makers to greet Ram on his birthday Monday.
Beginning with an explosion where men seem to be flying around in all corners, the teaser introduces Ram, dressed in all-black attire, dragging a high breed buffalo amid what seems like an arena in a festival. It is followed by him reeling a powerful dialogue (staple in Boyapati’s films) presumably aimed at the villain. There’s a fleeting glimpse of leading lady Sree Leela as well. Like with all his films, Boyapati seems to have gone all out with high-octane action, while unleashing a mass avatar of Ram. All this transpires while a high energy song in the background, with lyrics on RAPO, plays continuously. The teaser culminates with Ram stylishly plucking out a weapon from the ground with his right leg and stylishly ambling across.
Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under his Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, the as-yet-untitled film is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi on October 20. It’s an S Thaman musical.
