The makers of Brahma Anandam, featuring Brahmanandam and Raja Goutham, on Thursday dropped the teaser and there’s no way you can’t have a smile after watching it.
Approximately two minutes in length, the teaser opens with Brahmanandam (played by Raja Goutham), who is a teacher who says he is a good human being. His weakness is to help others. Plus, he maintains a safe distance from girls. On the contrary, his actions speak a different language. He is a cunning man who uses his friend’s (Vennela Kishore) money, flirts with girls frequently and occasionally boozes. Out of the blue, he encounters a big headache in the form of a character played by Hasya Brahma Brahmanandam, who is a bigger flirt than him and often gets him into trouble. However, he cannot escape from him because he is his grandfather.
To sum it up, the teaser establishes the character of Goutham well and his antics elicit laughter. There’s a certain mystery surrounding Brahmi’s role but trust it to offer more laughs than his son’s part. It appears that the film depends a lot on their chemistry and from the looks of it; the father-son duo has nailed it. From comedy to romance to drama, the teaser promises all and more. If it is any pointer, then Vennela Kishore seems to have landed a prominent supporting role and we can’t wait to see him bring the house down. The background score (by Sandilya Pisapati) oscillates between peppy, heroic and emotional tugging at your heartstrings at the end. The production values are adequate.
Also featuring Priya Vadlamani, Aishwarya Holakkal, Rajeev Kanakala, Sampath Raj, Raghu Babu, Prabhakar, Divija Prabhakar, and DayanandReddy in supporting roles, the film marks the directorial debut of RVS Nikhil, while Rahul Yadav Nakka of Swadharm Entertainment is the producer. It opens in cinemas on February 14th, 2025.
