A promising start at the box office has set the stage for King Of Entertainment Sree Vishnu’s latest entertainer, Comrade Kalyan, which is emerging as a hilarious box-office winner with encouraging audience turnout across theatres. The film’s impressive opening-day performance, coupled with growing advance bookings, signals strong momentum as it enters its first weekend of release.
Helmed by Janakiram and produced by Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati on Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP, the film recorded a worldwide gross of 4 crore+ on day 1, while the occupancy picked up during the first and second shows, with many theatres reporting housefull boards.
Sree Vishnu’s comedy continues to be a key attraction, particularly for family audiences looking for an entertaining theatrical experience. Affordable ticket prices have further supported the film’s reach, making it an appealing choice for moviegoers.
The film’s momentum is extending beyond its opening day, with day 2 advance bookings already exceeding the first-day figures. Its overseas performance has also been encouraging, with the movie crossing $100K in gross collections on day 1 in North America.
With the Dasara holiday period commencing today, Comrade Kalyan is well-positioned to draw more footfalls in the days ahead. The holiday advantage, combined with its promising booking trend, could help the film build further momentum at the box office.
