Superstar Rajinikanth, King Nagarjuna, Lokesh Kanagaraj & Sun Pictures unveil Aamir Khan’s powerful first‑look from Coolie

Coolie, one of Superstar Rajinikanth’s most‑awaited films, is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who continues to expand his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). The big‑ticket project, produced by the prestigious Sun Pictures, also features recent Kubera blockbuster star King Nagarjuna in a commanding role, while Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan plays another key character.
Today the makers introduced Aamir Khan’s character “Dahaga” with a first‑look poster. Sporting a gold watch, gold‑rimmed glasses and puffing a cigar, Aamir appears in an intense, menacing avatar that has taken social media by storm.
Leading distribution house Asian Multiplexes Pvt. Ltd.—run by D. Suresh Babu, Sunil Narang and Dil Raju—has snapped up the Telugu theatrical rights for a hefty sum, underscoring the massive hype around the project.
Alongside Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna, the cast includes Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, and Mahendran in pivotal roles. In the Telugu states the film will be released grandly through Asian Suresh Entertainments.
Earlier‑released posters, teasers and the chart‑busting song “Chikitu” have already sparked huge buzz.
The film is set for a worldwide grand release on 14 August 2025.

డి. సురేష్ బాబు, సునీల్ నారంగ్, దిల్ రాజు యాజమాన్యంలోని ప్రముఖ డిస్ట్రిబ్యూషన్ సంస్థ ఏషియన్ మల్టీప్లెక్సెస్ ప్రైవేట్ లిమిటెడ్ కూలీ మూవీ తెలుగు థియేట్రికల్ హక్కులను భారీ ధరకు సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఇది ప్రాజెక్ట్ చుట్టూ ఉన్న మ్యాసీవ్ హైప్‌ను సూచిస్తోంది.
