Adivi Sesh’s love and action drama Dacoit, directed by Shaneil Deo, is doing very well at the box office and continues its strong run on Day 2 after a good opening. Theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are seeing very good occupancies, especially in urban centers. The film has also sold close to 400K tickets on BookMyShow in just two days.
A major positive is that Day 2 collections are almost equal to Day 1, which means the film is holding strong. The Hindi version is doing even better on Day 2, earning more than Day 1 and collecting around 1.75 crore.
With about 13 crore gross on Day 2, the total worldwide collection for two days is around 28 crore+. This is the biggest opening in Adivi Sesh’s career and shows the film is likely to continue its strong run.
The movie has already crossed $1 million overseas, with a big share of $760K coming from the USA alone. This shows the film is performing strongly overseas as well.
Going by the trends, Dacoit is set to record the biggest first weekend collections of Adivi Sesh’s career. The strong momentum also indicates a long theatrical run.
