The filming of Nani’s ambitious Dasara is in the final leg. According to a source, the makers are gearing up to complete the talkie portions with a schedule which will begin tomorrow evening in Hyderabad. “It’s the climax part and will involve the entire principal cast. It will be shot for 10 days beginning tomorrow at the specially erected set at Bachupally, Hyderabad. Director Srikanth Odela has already got the demo shoot done and he is extremely happy with the footage. The next step for him is to replicate it with his cast,” says the source.

Once the above schedule is completed, the film, slated to hit cinema halls on March 30, will be left with just a song to shoot. “Composer Santosh Narayanan is yet to record the number. Once he completes it, the makers will shoot it. This will happen mostly next month or at a later date depending upon the availability of the actors. In the meantime, the makers will be devoting their time to post-production,” the source concludes.

A political drama set in the backdrop of Singareni Coal Mines in Godavarikhani with Nani playing a rustic villager and speaking the Telangana dialect synonymous with Singareni, Dasara sees noted names like Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, Tom Chacko (Malayalam), Deekshith Shetty (Kannada) and Poorna in supporting roles, while Keerthy Suresh is paired opposite Nani.
