Set to bow in theatres a day after, Jr NTR-starrer Devara is one of the hotly anticipated releases of the year and the excitement surrounding it is palpable. The advance bookings for the film have registered record numbers so far and going by the trends it looks to add more numbers to its tally.
S Naga Vamsi, who is distributing the film in the two Telugu states with the help of Dil Raju’s SVC, has said they’ve done everything in their limits to give it a wide release, while simultaneously appealing to fans to desist from unnecessary fan wars.
“Tarak anna, after a long gap, is arriving with a good emotional mass content. He did his part by giving us very good content. From our side, we did everything we can to give u a wide release, as per the availability and possibility, along with benefit shows in AP after a long time, with the help of our beloved govt,” he began.
Addressing fans, he added, “Our sincere request is for you to be calm and responsible. Stop creating these unnecessary fan wars. Due to this we are only inviting negativity on our film it might give some temporary kick, but later it is affecting our heroes films only. So requesting all our co-fans please let's stop these fan wars & enjoy this euphoria.
“At least with this film let's take an oath to stop these fan wars on social media and to not spread negativity on our films.”
He also appealed to fans to cease from posting film’s clips on social media. “Moreover, Fans who are watching the film in the first screening stop posting videos on social media and don't let the people sitting beside you also take videos. Let the fans who are watching the movie afterwards also have that thrill. With great love and care, let's give Tarak anna, a memorable blockbuster. This will be massive for all of us! Devara Seppindu ante Sesinatte!”
Devara- Part 1 is a joint production venture between Mikkilineni Sudhakar’s Yuvasudha Arts and Hari Krishna Kosaraju of NTR Arts. Written and directed by Koratala Siva, it also features Saif Ali Khan, Jahnvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko in prominent roles, while Anirudh Ravichander has composed music.
