It is well known that under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, director Hanu Raghavapudi is making the film Fauji with Prabhas and Imanvi Ismail in the lead roles. The team has been very cautious to ensure that no details about this unique project leak out.
According to reliable sources, the shoot of Fauji is progressing at a brisk pace. The film is said to be a historical romantic drama set in the 1940s, with Prabhas playing the role of a soldier. It’s estimated that about 60% of the shoot has already been completed, while Prabhas still has around 35 days of filming left.
Reports suggest that a prequel to Fauji is also in the works. If all goes as planned, Mythri Movie Makers are aiming to release Fauji in August next year (2026).
The film’s music is composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar. Given Hanu Raghavapudi’s mastery in portraying delicate emotions, and the fact that this is a romantic story from Prabhas after a long time, there are huge expectations for Fauji among audiences and within the film industry.
