Tharun Bhascker teamed up with first-timer Kasyap Sreenivas for a project that promises an inventive new flavour. Backed by an impressive team- Pavan Sadineni presenting the film while juggling his directorial venture Aakasamlo Oka Tara with Dulquer Salmaan, the project is being mounted on a solid production base by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and Umesh Bansal of Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories, and Zee Studios. The film’s first look received tremendous response, followed by humour-filled traiser, and a stirring quirky promotional song.
As officially announced by the makers, Gaayapadda Simham will release worldwide in theatres on May 1st, right in the peak summer window. With the advantage of long summer holidays and the wholesome entertainment promised through the promos, GPS is set to enjoy strong momentum. Adding further weight to the project, Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical rights and will be releasing the movie worldwide.
The ensemble features Faria Abdullah, Maanasa Choudhary, Vishnu Oi, Harshavardhan, and Subhalekha Sudhakar.
The film brings together a strong technical team, with Vidya Sagar Chinta is behind the lens, Sweekar Agasthi crafting the soundtrack, and Viplav Nyshadam overseeing the editing table. The visual world of the film is shaped by production designer Chandrika Gorrepati, while Surya Prakash Jyosula has provided the story.
