Actor Naga Chaitanya expressed heartfelt gratitude on receiving the Telangana Gaddar Film Award 2025 for Best Leading Actor for Thandel.
Describing the film as deeply special, he said, “I’m grateful beyond words to have had the opportunity to be part of this narrative and bring this true heroic story to the
screen."
The actor added that Thandel, based on real events and real people, was a special and meaningful journey for him. “I got involved during pre-production, and meeting them and hearing their real stories really motivated me. It felt like a blessing to bring their story to life,” he shared.
Speaking about the experience, he said the time spent with the real-life inspirations and on set had a personal impact and inspired him deeply, making the responsibility of the role even more meaningful.
He also extended his gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana Revanth Anumula, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Mallu Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Hon’ble Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, and the Gaddar Film Awards committee for the recognition.
He further thanked actor Ram Charan for presenting the award.
