And finally producer Dil Raju has let the cat out of the bag, bringing a sigh of relief to scores of Global star Ram Charan fans. Speaking at an event of Dhanush-starrer Raayan in Hyderabad on Sunday, the leading producer disclosed that Game Changer, his ambitious 50th production, will be arriving in cinemas this Christmas, putting an end to similar speculations for over a week.

“Game Changer aa? So, we will meet for Christmas,” the producer noted with a smile when fans wanted to know the release date of the Shankar directorial at the event. He didn’t add much.

Ram Charan has completed his portions for the film earlier this month, while Shankar recently stated that 10-15 days of work is still left. The new schedule of the film, lasting for three days, will begin on the 28th of this month in Hyderabad. Shankar, putting the fiasco of Bharateeyudu 2 behind him, undertook a recce of the locations six days ago.

Game Changer is about an honest IAS officer (played by Charan) who wages a battle against political corruption through fair elections to usher in a change in the game of governance. The actor is playing dual roles–of father and son in the film. Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film, also featuring Kiara Advani, Srikanth, Anjali, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Naveen Chandra, Samuthirakani and Naresh Vijayakrishna, is a Thaman musical.
