After filming a good chunk of talkie portions last month in Hyderabad, the unit of Shankar’s Game Changer, starring global star Ram Charan, is gearing up for a new schedule later this month in Hyderabad. Contrary to reports, it will not begin on February 14 but on February 16 and will be primarily shot in Hyderabad.
A source close to the unit informs us, “With Shankar, more or less, freed from Indian 2, he has decided to invest a lot of time on Game Changer until its completion. It is the reason why you can now see schedules running into two weeks or more as opposed to the schedules last year, which ran into barely a week or ten days. The fresh schedule in February will witness a high-octane action episode being shot and it comes at a crucial juncture in the film. The action episode is set on a massive scale and will be one of the talking points of the film.”
The source goes on to add, “A majority of this schedule, which will go on until March 2, will take place at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. KGF fame Anbariv masters will choreograph the action sequence.”
Game Changer sees Ram Charan portray dual roles and of the two, one is an honest and upright IAS officer. SJ Suryah plays the main antagonist, while Srikanth, Jayaram, Sunil, Anjali and Naveen Chandra are playing other supporting roles. Kiara Advani is cast opposite Charan. Dil Raju and Sirish are producing the film under their Sri Venkateswara Creations, while Thaman is the music director.
