After a grueling schedule of nearly 15 days, which witnessed the climax fight with close to 1,000 fighters being filmed earlier this month at a special set erected at Shamshabad, decorated filmmaker Shankar is now gearing up to commence the next schedule of Game Changer, front-lined by Ram Charan. According to a source, this outing will happen in Mysore, Karnataka.

The source chips in, “As of now, the makers are planning to begin the Mysore schedule from June 4 and complete it on June 11 or 12. There might be a minor change in the start time due to the availability of supporting actors but the makers are hopeful to start the schedule on June 4th itself. After the completion of this outing, Shankar will once again dive into Indian 2 filming. The Mysore outing will witness talkie portions being shot. Charan aside, the likes of Samuthirakani, Naveen Chandra, Raghu Babu are required for this leg, while female face Kiara Advani is not needed.”

Game Changer is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, and is based on a story written by Jigarthanda helmer Karthik Subbaraj. Shankar wrote the screenplay. A political drama, the film sees Charan in dual roles– of father and a son, while Srikanth will be playing a chief minister. Apart from Telugu and Tamil, it will also be released in Hindi and other regional languages. However, there is no release date attached to the project yet. It is a Thaman musical and all the songs from the film have been shot.
