For fans who’ve been patiently waiting to see Global star Ram Charan complete his portions for long-in-the-making Game Changer before he dives into Buchi Babu Sana’s rural sports drama, here’s some good news. According to sources close to the Shankar directorial, Charan’s portions are all but over except for seven-eight days of work.

“After a not-so productive May which has seen the unit working for less than a week in different parts of Hyderabad, the makers are hoping to complete some solid work this month, with the schedule being planned in Rajahmundry beginning anytime between 7th-9th of this month. The outing has been planned for six days and Charan is required for the whole leg. He will be shooting alongside Sunil and Naveen Chandra, both of whom got substantial supporting parts in the film,” says a source.

The source adds that after completing the Rajahmundry schedule, Charan is required to shoot for a couple of days in Hyderabad, calling an end to his part in the film. “It remains to be seen if these two days' shoot will happen immediately after the Rajahmundry leg, towards the month-end or later next month. After Charan is done with the shoot, Shankar will be left with 20-25 days to complete the entire shoot part,” reveals the source.

Game Changer is about an honest IAS officer who wages a battle against political corruption through fair elections to usher in a change in the game of governance. Charan is playing dual roles–of father and a son. Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film, also featuring Kiara Advani, Srikanth, Anjali, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Pridhvi, Vennela Kishore, Satya and Priyadarshi, is a Thaman musical.
