After a fruitful August schedule, which was one of the longest the film had witnessed in recent times, the unit of Global star Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, directed by S Shankar, was gearing up to start a new schedule last week but due to unknown reasons it has been called off. Fans of Ram Charan were unhappy with this and they expressed their disappointment and frustration taking to social media pages. They feel that the film is already way behind the schedule and this latest postponement is causing it to be delayed further.

To appease the fans, production house Sri Venkateswara Creations on Sunday announced that the September schedule had to be called off due to some actors’ unavailability. “The September schedule of #GameChanger has been cancelled only due to few artists’ unavailability. The shoot will resume in the second week of October,” the production house wrote.

In the August schedule, which went on for more than 15 days, Shankar shot talkie portions and a small action part in places like Annapurna 7 Acres, Chiraan Fort, Nizampet, Bhongir and Greenlands. Sunil had been a constant fixture throughout this schedule along with Ram Charan, while the likes of Naveen Chandra, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Raghu Babu and Pridhvi too joined in between.

A political drama aimed at a better society, Game Changer sees Charan in dual roles– of father and a son, while Srikanth is playing a chief minister. Apart from Telugu and Tamil, it will also be released in Hindi and other regional languages. However, there is no release date attached to the project yet. Also featuring Kiara Advani, Anjali, Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi, it is a Thaman musical and all the songs from the film have been shot.
