Global star Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, directed by Shankar, already features a bevy of distinguished faces like Srikanth, Jayaram, Sunil, Naveen Chandra and SJ Suryah in key supporting roles. Lending more weight and value in the supporting department, we hear, are the likes of Viswant Duddumpudi and Ananya Sharma. While Viswant is a reasonably recognizable face, having done supporting and lead roles, Ananya Sharma made a splash with the web series 30 Weds 21 (2021-2022).

A source close to the unit tells us, “Viswant will be seen as Charan’s brother in the film, while Ananya is paired opposite him. Their combination scenes were shot in the recent Hyderabad leg, which concluded earlier this week. Charan too was a part of the shooting. While they don’t have lengthy roles, they have their own significance in propelling the story forward. In addition to both of them, the film will also see veteran actor Naresh Vijaya Krishna in a significant supporting role.”

Game Changer, a political drama from the stables of Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations, sees Charan as an honest IAS officer who wants to root out corruption in the society and revive the political system. He will be also seen in another powerful role, the details of which are shrouded in mystery. The film, also featuring Kiara Advani, Anjali, Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi, is a Thaman musical. The next schedule will start in the second week of September.
