The movie, besides being a super hit, has also joined the celebrations of Pran Prathista of Bhagwan Shree Ram in Ayodhya, by donating Rs 5 from each ticket for the Bhavya Ram temple in Ayodhya,” the Tourism minister wrote on X.

Set in the fictional village of Anjanadri, Hanuman follows the story of an ordinary guy Hanumanthu (played by Teja) who unexpectedly gains superpowers. A formidable super villain later (played by Vinai Rai) enters his life and how he takes on the former, while saving Anjanadri forms the crux of the story. Niranjan Reddy Kandagatla has produced it. Hanuman marks the beginning of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), which will be followed by Adhira.
