Mythri Movie Makers, along with their distribution arm Mythri Movie Distributors LLP, continues to expand its slate by bringing fresh and entertaining content to Telugu audiences. Their latest acquisition is Happy Raj, a lively romantic comedy starring GV Prakash Kumar and directed by Maria Raja Elanchezian, with Jaivarda producing under Beyond Pictures. The makers today unveiled the film’s theatrical trailer.

GV Prakash plays a young man who has a history of being rejected by several girls for reasons he fails to understand. His fortunes change when he finally meets someone who genuinely accepts him. However, the path to love isn’t as simple- his relationship hits a quirky roadblock when the girl insists that her parents must be convinced through his, sparking a chain of hilarious and chaotic events.

GV Prakash Kumar delivered a hilarious performance. His coming timing is remarkable. Sri Gouri Priya, who rose to popularity with the MAD series, stars as the female lead and adds charm to the narrative. The film also marks the comeback of Abbas in a key role as her father, bringing a nostalgic touch for long-time audiences.

The film’s technical team- including cinematographer Madhan Christopher, editor RK Selva, composer Justin Prabhakaran, and production designer Kumar Gangappan, adds finesse to the overall presentation.

Slated for a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu on March 27, Happy Raj is expected to enjoy strong traction in Telugu states, thanks to the solid backing of Mythri Movie Distributors LLP and the positive early response. In fact, the trailer promises a quirky rom-com rollercoaster.
