It is poised to be a blockbuster summer next year. After production houses like Haarika & Hassine Creations and AK Entertainments booked different summer slots for their respective releases, SSMB28 and Bhola Shankar, producer AM Ratnam over the weekend announced the release date of his next, Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM), with power star Pawan Kalyan.
Speaking to a media channel, Ratnam stated that he is looking at March 30, 2023 to release the long-in-the-making period drama. “Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a big budget film. Many are feeling that it’s getting late… but it’s not like that. The film requires time. As it is a period film, we are coming up with sets. We are looking to release it for March 30 next year. It will definitely be a big hit. It’s a pan India film. It will be the biggest film in Kalyan garu’s career,” Ratnam, who is staging a comeback to Telugu film production space with the film, declared.
The film’s first half has been wrapped up and the makers were looking to commence the production this month but due to the call given by the Chamber, the schedule had to be deferred. Now, it remains to be seen when it will resume.
Set in the 17th century, HHVM, written and directed by Krish, chronicles the epic adventure of a legendary outlaw played by Pawan. To have a simultaneous bow in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi, it co-stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Arjun Rampal, Nargis Fakhri, Poojitha Ponnada and Narra Srinu among others. MM Keeravani is the tunesmith.
