Superstar Mahesh Babu on Thursday morning dropped the trailer of his brother-in-law Sudheer Babu-starrer Harom Hara and it is a perfect mix of drama, action and just the right amount of thrill to keep one hooked.

The 2 minutes 47 seconds begins with the voiceover of Sunil who, in Chittoor dialect, says the strong need a weapon but for the weak, the weapon is his strength. We are later introduced to Subhramaniam (Sudheer Babu) who believes people will not respect you if you don’t have money. His love interest assures him that he is different from others. He is surprised and shocked when he learns that a gun costs Rs 500. He feels the price shouldn’t be more than Rs 100. So he takes the onus of manufacturing a gun. He soon becomes the finest gunsmith of Kuppam, designing various models and naming them as NTR, Chiranjeevi, Krishna and Amitabh Bachchan. The availability of guns easily in the market means cops are on the hunt for Subrahmaniam but they don’t have a clue about him. He is later embroiled in the gang wars of the locality and at one point; he says you can wage a war with anyone but not on someone who manufactures weapons. Will he emerge as the kingpin of Kuppam? We have to wait until June 14 to find out the answer.

Overall, the trailer builds a lot of intrigue with its use of striking visuals and quick-cut edit pattern. Peppered with sharp banter and adrenaline-pumping stunts, the trailer unveils a riveting narrative where alliances are tested and loyalties are questioned. Besides the background music, the backdrop, the power-packed dialogue and grandeur of the film, what makes it even better is Sudheer Babu’s swag.

Produced by Sumanth G Naidu, Harom Hara, with Malvika Sharma opposite Sudheer Babu, is written and directed by Gnanasagar Dwaraka, while Sunil, Jayaprakash, Keshav Deepak, Ravi Kale and others are playing supporting roles. Chaitan Bharadwaj is the tunesmith.
