The long wait of power star Pawan Kalyan fans is over as the trailer of his Hari Hara Veera Mallu was unveiled at an event in Hyderabad on Thursday and it promises an epic action spectacle where Pawan is seen fighting the mughal army single-handedly to restore Dharma.

Roughly three minutes in length, the trailer opens in a time period where to live as Hindu, one has to pay tax. The Baadhshah of the time is plundering the Indian wealth, while mother nature is waiting for a hero to rise. We are next introduced to Aurangzeb (played by Bobby Deol) who is menacing and kills anyone who comes in his way. He has his eyes firmly set on planting his flag on Indian soil. Later we are introduced to a character played by Tanikella Bharani who says that there is just one Kohinoor on Earth and for it to be brought back to the place where it rightfully belongs, the need of the hour is Rama Banam and that Rama Banam here is Veera Mallu (Pawan Kalyan) who makes a dashing entry as he tries to get on to the saddle of a horse. He is a Bobbili Tiger who has the power to ground wrestlers double his size. Soon his path crosses with that of Aurangazeb in his fight for Dharma and it’s an all out war between him and the mughal army, culminating in a fight for ages. The last segment of the clip is action-centric and one particular shot where Veera Mallu, in the backdrop of Charminar, negates a barrage of arrows is highly impressive.

On the whole, the trailer lays the solid foundation for a compelling story that thrives on high stakes, hard choices and a protagonist who refuses to back down despite the Herculean task in front of him. Pawan’s larger-than-life presence dominates the screen as he delivers powerful dialogues and performs spectacular action, ensuring that every moment is packed with intensity. He is in his element as he exudes a daring and daunting aura. Bobby Deol’s presence is simply unmissable, while Niddhi Agerwal looks beautiful. MM Keeravani’s background score is alright, while the production values are opulent.

Directed by Jyothi Krishna and produced by his uncle Dayakar Rao under Mega Surya Production, HHVM blazes into cinemas on July 24.
