HIT - The Second Case, spearheaded by Adivi Sesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary, has been cleared by the regional censor board with an ‘A’ certificate. The running time is two hours. “KD is all set to hunt down the one behind the gruesome crime #HIT2 Certified ‘A’ All set for a grand release on Dec 2nd (sic),” tweeted the production house Wall Poster Cinema on Saturday.

HIT - The Second Case, which is a part of HIT cinematic universe follows KD (played by Sesh), a Vizag-based cop, who is on the hunt for a serial killer who is killing young women mercilessly and dismembering their bodies. KD has to race against time to nab the killer as candle marches and protests erupt in Vizag following the murder of one Sanjana.
Also featuring Posani Krishna Murali, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Srikanth Maganti and Komalee Prasad in supporting roles, the whodunit will open in cinemas next Friday. Dr Sailesh Kolenu has written and directed the second part as well. A joint production venture between Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni, John Stewart Eduri has composed the background score.
